The Brand Creative interior design team loved working on the new luxury fashion retail environment for Mauzan, the latest location of the modest womenswear store in Al Ain. Having worked with the clothing and perfume retailers previously, it was great to become reacquainted with the brand and develop a chic new location that would evolve the identity into a contemporary new direction.
Fundamentally, the design intent was to appeal to the existing customer demographic, maintaining an opulent, feminine aesthetic that would resonate with Middle Eastern women. Beyond this, we pushed the boundaries with unconventional design details throughout the concept such as the sinuous fixtures and flooring that reflect the curved logo spatially in a contemporary & unexpected way.
The Brand Creative designers proposed customised rounded gold metal fixtures to bring definition to the space, whilst the elegant circular seating area contributes to the stylish boudoir effect. The boutique’s sophisticated interior features feminine pink hues with marble and luxe gold finishes, portraying a glamorous confidence that is intrinsic to the Mauzan brand.
The perfume section is defined from the clothing area with a cylindrical ivory and gold partition, leading the customer into a contemporary, more minimal space that is dedicated to fragrance. The interior designers at Brand Creative were intent on enabling Mauzan to solidify their positioning in the luxury fashion market, pushing the boundaries of contemporary femininity and empowering women in the UAE.
